In this night and in this hour,
I call upon the ancient power,Of enchanted Samhain night,
By darkened eve and candle bright.
Today the veil of worlds is thin,
Welcoming all spirits in,
To visit mortals once a year,
And we will see their presence here.
Lady of the Darkness hark,
Like flames we carry through the dark;
Illuminate this ancient night,
By pumpkin moon and candle bright!
For blessings in the year ahead,
We light our fires, honour dead,
Strength and wisdom is the key,
As I will, so mote it be!
